DAER Is Out (And Yes, I’m Still Alive)

Hello? Is this thing on?
I know, I know — it’s been a while. A while while. The kind of while where you start a sentence with “I should really post something” approximately 47 times before actually doing it. But here we are, and I come bearing good news.
The Language of Birds released our new EP, DAER, on May 5th — Cinco de Miles!
In the time since my last post, I managed to: finish and release an EP, pack up my entire life into boxes, move to a new place, unpack approximately 60% of those boxes (the rest are “future me’s problem”), and somehow forget to tell anyone about any of it. Classic.
The move ate up way more of my bandwidth than expected — both mental and physical — and finishing DAER while simultaneously trying to figure out where I put my spatula was… an experience. But I am really proud of how it turned out, and it feels good to finally have it out in the world.
DAER is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms. Give it a listen, add it to a playlist, send it to someone who appreciates adventurous sound design, or just let it play in the background while you unpack your own metaphorical boxes.
